The Waterboys play a mix of Celtic folk music with rock & roll.
Let's listen to three of their songs.
How long will I love you?
As long as 1 ................... are above you
And 2.............. if I can
How long will I need you?
As long as the 3......................... need to
Follow their plan
How long will I be with you?
As long as the sea is bound to
Wash upon the sand
How long will I want you?
As long as you want me to
And 2................................. by far
How long will I 4........................... you?
As long as your father told you
As long as you are
How long will I give to you?
As long as I live to you
5........................ long you say
How long will I love you?
As long as 1.................... are above you
And 2............................... if I may
How long will I love you?
How long will I love you?
How long will I love you?
I wish I was a fisherman
tumbling on the 1.........................
far away from 2........................... land
and its bitter memories
casting out my 3...................... line
with abandonment and love
no ceiling bearing down on me
save the starry 4............................ above
with light in my head
with you in my arms...
I wish I was the brakeman
on a hurtling fevered train
crashing head long into the heartland
like a 5............................. in the rain
with the feeling of the sleepers
and the burning of the coal
counting the towns flashing by
and a night that's full of soul
with light in my head
with you in my arms...
And I know I will be loosened
from the bonds that 6......................... me fast
and the 7............................. all around me
will fall away at last
and on that grand and fateful day
I will take thee in my hand
I will ride on a train
I will be the fisherman
With light in my head
You in my arms...
Light in my head
You in my arms...
Light in my head
A man is in love, how do I know?
He came and walked with me and he told me so
In a song he sang and then I 1..............................
A man is in love with you
A man is in love, how did I 2..........................?
I heard him talk too much whenever you're near
He 3........................ your name when his eyes were closed
A man is in love and he 4 .........................
A man is in love, how did I 5..................................?
I figured it out while he was watching you 6............................
He'd give you his all, if you'd but 7...................................
A man is in love and he's me

Thanksgiving. The Pilgrims
Hi! My name is Plymouth, Plymouth rock. Now you might just wonder how a rock ever got a name like Plymouth. Well, let me tell you howit all happened; the year was 1620. It was a normal day for me sitting on the beach getting some sun, minding my own business when lo and behold along comes this boat. Then, can you believe it? as big as I am it bumps into me.
- Who said that?
- I think it was the rock
- The rock!
- Oh, whatever.
- Let's plant the flag, shall we? I do yell by name this place Plymouth
- Very nice, and what about a name for the rock?
- I do yell by name this rock Plymouth rock
- Is that the only name you know?
- It sounds great to me. Let's go.
And so the pilgrims got off the boat and began the hard work and set up the settlement in the new world.
Now, I don't know whose idea it was to try to build a settlement at the beginning of winter, but needless to say, the pilgrims had it pretty rough.
- How was... was... was... your hunting? I'm hungry.
- Fish fillet anyone?
- Please, have mercy on us!
Finally the long hard winter passed and spring came, my favourite time of the year. The sun was shining, the grass was growing, the birds were singing and the pilgrims went out to plant.
- Number one... dig hole, checked....number two...
- You don't really know what you're doing, do you?
- I admit it. I'm not much of a farmer.
But God had heard their prayer,s and sent along one of the locals to help them, an English-speaking Indian by the name of Squanto.
- Would you like some help?
- Yes, please.
So with lots of hard work and working together with their new friends, the Indians, by the end of the season,
they had an abundant harvest.
- God, we thank you for all our families and friends and for Thy many blessings.
- Amen to that.
- We should do this every year!
And so began the tradition of Thanksgiving, when family and friends get together to fellowship and eat and thank God for His many blessings, and as for me for some reason they decided to give me a new home where lots of people come to visit me and take pictures. I am of all rocks most truly blessed.
Happy Thanksgiving

AIRPLANES
Can we pretend that airplanes
In the night sky are like shooting stars?
I could really use a wish right now
Wish right now, wish right now
Can we pretend that airplanes
In the night sky are like shooting stars?
I could really use a wish right now
Wish right now, wish right now
Yeah, I could use a dream or a genie or a wish
To go back to a place much simpler than this
'Cause after all the partying and smashing and crashing
And all the glitz and the glam and the fashion
And all the pandemonium and all the madness
There comes a time where you fade to the blackness
And when you're staring at that phone in your lap
And you're hoping, but then people never call you back
But that's just how the story unfolds
You get another hand soon after you fold
And when your plans unravel in the sand
What would you wish for if you had one chance?
So airplane, airplane, sorry I'm late
I'm on my way so don't close that gate
If I don't make that then I'll switch my flight
And I'll be right back at it by the end of the night
Can we pretend that airplanes
In the night sky are like shooting stars?
I could really use a wish right now
Wish right now, wish right now
Can we pretend that airplanes
In the night sky are like shooting stars?
I could really use a wish right now
Wish right now, wish right now
Yeah, somebody take me back to the days
Before this was a job, before I got paid
Before it ever mattered what I had in my bank
Yeah, back when I was trying to get a tip at subway
And back when I was rapping for the hell of it
But nowadays we're rapping to stay relevant
I'm guessing that if we can make some wishes out of airplanes
Then maybe, oh, maybe I'll go back to the days
Before the politics that we call the rap game
And back when ain't nobody listened to my mix tape
And back before I tried to cover up my slang
But this is for the hater, what's up, Bobby Ray
So can I get a wish to end the politics?
And get back to the music that started this shit
So here I stand, and then again I say
I'm hoping we can make some wishes out of airplanes
Can we pretend that airplanes
In the night sky are like shooting stars?
I could really use a wish right now
Wish right now, wish right now
Can we pretend that airplanes
In the night sky are like shooting stars?

The rain in Spain
At the beginning, the rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain
All right Liza, say it again.
The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain. Didn't I saiy that?
No, Eliza, you didn't saiy that.
You didn't even say that. Every night before you go to bed, where you used to say your prayers.... I want you to say: The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain.... fifty times. You'll get much further with the Lord if you learn not to offend His ears.
The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain.
What was that?
The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain.
Again.
The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain.
I think she's got it. I think she's got it.
The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain.
By George, she's got it. By George, she's got it. Now once again. Where does it rain?
On the plain, on the plain
And where's that soggy plain?
In Spain, in Spain
The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain
The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain
In Hartford, Hereford and Hampshire....
...Hurricanes hardly happen
How kind of you to let me come
Now once again. Where does it rain?
On the plain, on the plain
And where's that blasted plain?
In Spain, in Spain
The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain
And in Spanish
All right Liza, say it again.
The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain. Didn't I saiy that?

And finally.........in English
The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain.
What was that?
The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain.
Again.
The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain.
I think she's got it. I think she's got it.

Eccentric, and with unlimited oil 7............................., he recently hosted his own Olympic Games......

Amish Paradise
Who are the Amish?
As I walk through the 1....................... where I harvest my grain
I take a look at my wife and realize she's very plain
But that's just 2........................ for an Amish like me
You know, I shun fancy things like electricity
At 4:30 in the morning I'm 3............................ cows
Jebediah feeds the chickens and Jacob plows... fool
And I've been milking and plowing so long that
Even Ezekiel thinks that my mind is gone
I'm a man of the land,
I'm into discipline
Got a 4........................... in my hand and a beard on my chin
But if I finish all of my chores and you finish thine
Then tonight we're gonna party like it's 1699
We been spending most our lives
Living in an Amish paradise
I've churned butter once or twice
Living in an Amish paradise
It's hard 5......................... and sacrifice
Living in an Amish paradise
We sell quilts at discount 6..................................
Living in an Amish paradise
A local boy kicked me in the butt last week
I just smiled at him and turned the other 7..................................
I really don't care, in fact I wish him well
'Cause I'll be laughing my head off when he's burning in hell
But I ain't never punched a tourist even if he deserved it
An Amish with a tude?
You know that's unheard of
I never wear buttons but I got a cool hat
And my homies agree, I really look good in black...fool
If you come to visit, you'll be bored to 8....................................
We haven't even paid the phone bill in 300 years
But we ain't really quaint, so please don't point and stare
We're just technologically impaired
There's no phone, no lights, no motorcar
Not a single luxury Like Robinson Crusoe
It's as primitive as can be
We've been spending most our lives
Living in an Amish paradise
We're just plain and simple 9................................
Living in an Amish paradise
There's no time for sin and vice
Living in an Amish paradise
We don't fight, we all play nice
Living in an Amish paradise
Hitching up the buggy, churning lots of butter
Raised a barn on Monday, soon I'll raise another
Think you're really righteous?
Think you're pure in heart?
Well, I know I'm a million times as humble as thou art
I'm the pious guy the little Amlettes wanna be like
On my knees day and night scoring 10.......................... for the afterlife
So don't be vain and don't be whiny
Or else, my brother, I might have to get medieval on your heinie
We been spending most our lives
Living in an Amish paradise
We're all crazy Mennonites
Living in an Amish paradise
There's no cops or traffic lights
Living in an Amish paradise
But you'd probably think it bites
